Follow these steps to install PamelaWare for WordPress: - Get the plugin
- Upload, extract & place in WordPress plugins directory
- Activate the plugin
- Check Prerequisites and set certificate information
- Edit wp-login.php
- Test
Exact Details on each step below:
Step 1: Get the Plugin Right now the plugin is in beta. If you are the type of person who can handle using beta software (ie you can do some basic troubleshooting, you're willing to work through problems patiently, and you won't go ballistic if it turns out something has gone horribly wrong), contact Pamela at her iName (=Pamela.Dingle ) and ask to be part of this beta program. Step 2: Upload, Extract, and Place in WordPress plugins directory on your site
- Use ftp, scp, or your hosting solution's file manager to move the download file onto your webserver.
- Extract the wp-infocard from the directory using a command like 'tar xvzf wp-infocard-beta1.tar gz'
- Move the plugin into the wp-content/plugins directory inside the root directory of your blog and make sure that the directory files are owned by the webserver owner.

Step 3: Activate the Plugin - Log into WordPress as a user with administrator rights
- Open the "Plugins" menu
- You should see the "Information Card Plugin" listed.

- Click the "Activate" link for the plugin

Step 4: Check Prerequisites & Set Certificate information - Click on the "Options" menu, and then on "Information Card Options"
 - Click on the "more information" links if any checklist member shows a red X instead of a green checkmark.
- Enter your private key, making sure that no extra carriage returns are introduced into the key (formatting is critical. If you place your cursor in
